Case Studies

Visit Britain asked us to develop an internal session that would inspire and involve delegates in the ‘Brand of Britain’ – allowing them to promote Britain as a tourist destination effectively. We needed to communicate what the brand stood for and ensure delegates felt they owned the brand. We engaged their imaginations and equipped them with the skills and passion to promote Britain.

Using actors to play a wide variety of fictional British characters, we were able to trigger the patriotic emotions of delegates through story-telling, live exercises, games and guided visualisation. The day was carefully structured into eight phases taking delegates through ideas ranging from brand appeal to bringing the brand to life and culminating in the story of a perfect day out in Britain. Delegates were able to apply their understanding and enthusiasm of brand Britain to their clients by using constructive output from the session and were left energised, passionate and committed to promoting Britain.

We were asked to facilitate a new thinking day for this large producer’s famous new product. We developed an energetic, fast-paced, creative day that allowed delegates (agency and client) to express new brand thinking.

Using actors and a variety of props and settings, we began the day with warm-ups and games to relax participants and moved on to look at vocabulary development and emotional brand response through live exercises. The day was structured to identify market segments, brand values and new product and communication ideas and culminated in the production of a set of fresh ideas to take forward.
