Multi-media

Case Studies

BT asked us to develop a communications campaign to energise and motivate its Redcare employees into one team with one vision and one mission. We produced a portfolio of live events and radio programmes to keep everyone inspired, in the loop and in the know. We provided communication tools which matched the values, culture and business mix. Tools that were relevant and realistic – why provide engineers with magazines or leaflets if they’re constantly on the road and don’t have desk time to read them?

The campaign comprised a showcase event – Big Red – the launch centrepiece which set the tone and style of the campaign. This was followed and reinforced with bi-monthly radio shows – Redsound – which featured sketches, comedy, employee vox pops, latest news and manager interview slots. We also produced monthly culture clubs – live events and workshops throughout the country demonstrating what it means to be a Redcare employee, new innovations, working methods and business objectives.

For a young business with a motivational need, a live event programme offered a highly effective method of communicating that really delivered the inspiration needed for the business to progress.

CSAM asked us to develop an inclusive, interesting and involving way of reaching and talking to their global audience following the launch and implementation of a global Brand Vision. We developed a global radio programme aired on the intranet to introduce and then reinforce the new brand positioning and values. Each programme featured interviews with senior manager from around the world interspersed with original music, song, sketches and news packages.

Entitled Sound Business, the creative theming centred around a ship at sea using morse code and the ship’s radio to tune into different radio stations around the world. As the radio re-tuned, a new programme snippet was aired conveying a different business or product message with news from award-winning teams and specific information about brand values and business strategy. Employees had the opportunity to listen to region specific versions of the programme after tuning in to the generic worldwide introduction.

For a large global business, a radio programme offered a highly creative but very cost-effective way of communicating different messages to different audiences – without the constraints of a visual medium.
